Dhupai Tataa Hoi Kai Chhaavain Thhaddhaa Hoi Rahandaa |

It remains hot in sunshine and cold in the shade.

ਨਾਵਣੁ ਜੀਵਦਿਆਂ ਮੁਇਆਂ ਪੀਤੈ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਿ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ਹੋਵੰਦਾ।

Naavanu Jeevadiaan Muiaan Peetai Saanti Santokhu Hovandaa |

Bathing, living, dying, drinking it always gives peace and satisfaction.

ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਕਰਦਾ ਮੈਲਿਆਂ ਨੀਵੈ ਸਰਵਰ ਜਾਇ ਟਿਕੰਦਾ।

Niramalu Karadaa Mailiaan Neevai Saravar Jaai Tikandaa |

It makes impure ones pure and remains undisturbed in the lower tanks.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਖ ਫਲੁ ਭਾਉ ਭਉ ਸਹਜੁ ਬੈਰਾਗੁ ਸਦਾ ਵਿਗਸੰਦਾ।

Guramukhi Sukh Fal Bhaau Bhau Sahaju Bairaagu Sadaa Vigasandaa |

Similarly, the gurmukh person in the love and fear of the Lord and observing indifference, full of equipoise remains delighted.
