ਮੰਨੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਮੰਨਾਇਆ।
Mannai Satigur Hukamu Hukami Manaaiaa |
Who accepts the order (will) of Lord makes the whole world accept His order (Hukam).
ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੨੦ ਪਉੜੀ ੧੩ ਪੰ. ੧
ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨੈ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਗੁਰ ਫੁਰਮਾਇਆ।
Bhaanaa Mannai Hukami Gur Dhuramaaiaa |
The order of the Guru is that the will of the Lord be accepted positively.
ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੨੦ ਪਉੜੀ ੧੩ ਪੰ. ੨
ਪਿਰਮ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਪੀਵ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਇਆ।
Piram Piaalaa Peevi Alakhu Lakh Aaiaa |
Drinking the cup of loving devotion, they visualise the invisible (Lord).

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਇ ਨ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਇਆ।
Guramukhi Alakhu Lakhaai N Alakhu Lakh Aaiaa |
The Gurmukhs even having seen (realised) do not go on divulging this mystery.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ਨ ਆਪੁ ਗਣਾਇਆ।
Guramukhi Aapu Gavaai N Aapu Ganaaiaa |
Gurmukhs delete ego from the self and never allow themselves to be noticed.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਖ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇ ਬੀਜ ਫਲਾਇਆ ॥੧੩॥
Guramukhi Sukh Fal Paai Beej Falaaiaa ||13 ||
The Guru-orientated ones acquire the fruit of happiness and spread its seeds all around.
