ਨਿਰਾਧਾਰ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਨ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਇਆ।
Niraadhar Nirankaaru N Alakhu Lakh Aaiaa |
The formless Lord who is without any anchor and is imperceptible, has not made himself fully known to anyone.

ਹੋਆ ਏਕੰਕਾਰ ਆਪੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ।
Hoaa Aykankaaru Aapu Upaaiaa |
From unembodiment He assumed the form by himself and becoming Oankar

ਓਅੰਕਾਰ ਅਕਾਰੁ ਚਲਿਤੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ।
Aoankaari Akaaru Chalitu Rachaaiaa |
He created infinite wondrous forms.

He is the basis of all, the incomparable One.

ਲਿਖਿਆ ਥਿਤਿ ਨ ਵਾਰੁ ਨ ਮਾਹੁ ਜਣਾਇਆ।

None has ever disclosed the date, the day and month (of creation).
