None gets liberated without the true Guru without whom their ego goes on increasing further,

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਿਝਈ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਧਦੀ ਜਾਇ ਵਧੇਰੇ।

Without holy congregation, the sense of ego stares at the jtv menacingly,
