ਵਜੂਦਸ਼ ਜ਼ਿ ਕੁਦਸੀ ਵਰਕ ਆਮਦਾ ॥ ੫੯ ॥

Vajūdasẖa zi kudasī varaka aāmadā ] 59 ]

And, his disposition is a page from the tome of the gods. (59)

ਜ਼ਿ ਵਸਫ਼ਸ਼ ਜ਼ਬਾਨਿ ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਕਸੀਰ

Zi vasafaasẖa zabāni do aālama kasīra

He cannot be admired enough by the tongues of both the worlds,

ਬਵਦ ਤੰਗ ਪੇਸ਼ਸ਼ ਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਇ ਜ਼ਮੀਰ ॥ ੬੦ ॥

Bavada taańaga pésẖasẖa faazāei zamīra ] 60 ]

And, for him, the vast courtyard of the soul is not large enough. (60)

ਹਮਾਂ ਬਿਹ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਾਹੇਮ ਅਜ਼ ਫ਼ਜਲਿ ਊ

Hamāʼn biha ki kẖẖāhéma aza faajali aū

Therefore, it would be prudent for us that we should, from his eclat and beneficence

ਜ਼ਿ ਅਲਤਾਫ਼ੋ ਅਕਰਾਮ ਹੱਕ ਅਦਲਿ ਊ ॥ ੬੧ ॥

Zi alatāfao akarāma ha¤ka adali aū ] 61 ]

And His kindness and generosity, obtain His command. (61)

ਸਰਿ ਮਾ ਬਪਾਇਸ਼ ਬਵਦ ਬਰ ਦਵਾਮ

Sari mā bapāeisẖa bavada bara davāma

Our heads should, therefore, always bow at His lotus feet,

ਨਿਸ਼ਾਰਸ਼ ਦਿਲੋ ਜਾਨਿ ਮਨ ਮੁਸਤਦਾਮ ॥ ੬੨ ॥

Nisẖārasẖa dilo jāni mana musatadāma ] 62 ]

And, our heart and soul should always be willing to sacrifice themselves for Him. (62)

ਤੀਜੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰ ਦਾਸ ਜੀ)

Tījī pātasẖāhī (sarī gurū amara dāsa jī)

Third Guru Guru Amar Das Ji

ਤੀਸਰੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ, ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰ ਦਾਸ ਜੀ, ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਨਹਾਰੇ, ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਾਵਤ ਅਤੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਾਗਰ ਸਨ ।

Tīsarī pātasẖāhī, gurū amara dāsa jī, sa¤cha dé pālanahāré, désẖāʼn dé sulatāna até sakẖẖāvata até bakẖẖasẖisẖa dé saańasāra sāgara sana [

The Third Guru, Guru Amar Das Ji, was the noursiher-upholder of truth, emperor of regions and expansive ocean of bestowals and largess.

ਇੱਕ, ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਡਾਢਾ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਦੂਸਰਾ, ਹਿਸਾਬ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਨ ।

Ei¤ka, mouta dā dādẖā faarisẖatā jisa dé adhīna sī, até dūsarā, hisāba kitāba ra¤kẖana vāliaāña dévatiaāña dé sulatāna jisa dé lékẖé vicha sana [

The strong and powerful angel of death was subservient to him, and the chief of gods of maintaining the accounts of each and every person was under his supervision.

ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਮਸ਼ਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਦ-ਪਤਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਹਰ ਕਲੀ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੇੜਾ ਸੀ ।

Eihanāʼn dohāʼn dī chamaka dā pahirāvā sa¤cha dī masẖāla até baańada-patiaāña vālī hara kalī dī kẖusẖī até kẖérẖā sī [

The glow of the garb of the flame of truth, and the blossoming of the closed buds is their joy and happiness.

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਅਲਿਫ ਹਰ ਭਟਕ ਰਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੁੱਖ ਆਰਾਮ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਮੀਮ ਹਰ ਆਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਵਿ-ਰਸ ਬਖਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ ।

AunaHāʼn dé pavi¤tara nāma dā alipẖa hara bẖattaka rahé baańadé laeī su¤kẖa aārāma bakẖẖasẖana vālā hai até mubāraka mīma hara aātara até lāchāra dé kaańanāʼn nūańa kāvi-rasa bakẖasẖadā hai [

The first letter of his holy name, 'Alif', bestows elation and serenity to every strayed person.

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਰੇ ਅਮਰ ਮੁਖੜੇ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੌਣਕ ਹੈ ।

AunaHāʼn dé nāma dī chaańagé bẖāgāʼn vālī ré amara mukẖarẖé dī sobẖā até rounaka hai [

The sacred 'Meem", blesses the ear of every grieved and afflicted person with the savor of poetry.

ਨੇਕ-ਬਖ਼ਤੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਦਾਲ ਹਰ ਨਿਰਾਸੇ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ।

Néka-bakẖẖatī bẖarapūra dāla hara nirāsé dī sahāeī huańadī hai [

The fortunate 'Ray' of his name is the glory and grace of his divine face and the well-intentioned 'Daal' is the support of every helpless.

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਲਿਫ ਹਰ ਪਾਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਲਾ ਸੀਨ ਉਸ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਦਾ ਪਰਛਾਵਾਂ ਹੈ ॥ ੬੩ ॥

AunaHāʼn dé nāma dā dūjā alipẖa hara pāpī até dosẖī nūańa sẖarana até panāha déna vālā hai, até aańatalā sīna ausa karatāra dā parachẖāvāʼn hai ] 63 ]

The second 'Alif' of his name provides protection and refuge to every sinner and the last 'Seen' is the image of the Almighty Waaheguru. (63)

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀਉ ਸਤ

Vāhigurū jīau sata

Waaheguru is the Truth,

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀਉ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੈ

Vāhigurū jīau hāzara nāzara hai

Waaheguru is Omnipresent

ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਆਂ ਗਰਾਮੀ ਨਜ਼ਾਦ

Gurū amaradāsa aāña garāmī nazāda

Gueu Amar Das was from a great family lineage,

ਜ਼ਿ ਅਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਲਿ ਹੱਕ ਹਸਤੀਅਸ਼ ਰਾ ਮੁਆਦ ॥ ੬੪ ॥

Zi afaazāli ha¤ka hasatīasẖa rā muaāda ] 64 ]

Whose personality received the wherewithal (to complete the task) from the compassion and benignity of Akaalpurakh. (64)

ਜ਼ਿ ਵਸਫ਼ੋ ਸਨਾਇ ਹਮਾ ਬਰਤਰੀਂ

Zi vasafao sanāei hamā baratarīña

He is uperior than all in terms of laudation and admiration,

ਬ-ਸਦਰਿ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਮੁਰੱਬਅ ਨਸ਼ੀਂ ॥ ੬੫ ॥

Ba-sadari hakīkata mura¤ba nasẖīña ] 65 ]

He is sitting cross-legged on the seat of the truthful Akaalpurakh. (65)

ਜਹਾਂ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਅਜ਼ ਨੂਰਿ ਅਰਸ਼ਾਦਿ ਊ

Jahāʼn rousẖana aza nūri arasẖādi aū

This world is glittering with the radiance of his message,

ਜ਼ਮੀਨੋ ਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਅਜ਼ ਦਾਦਿ ਊ ॥ ੬੬ ॥

Zamīno zamāʼn gulasẖana aza dādi aū ] 66 ]

And, this earth and the world have transformed into a beautiful garden due to his fairness. (66)

ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਗੁਲਾਮਸ਼ ਚਿਹ ਹਜ਼ਦਹਿ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ

Do aālama gulāmasẖa chiha hazadahi hazāra

What to talk about eighty thousand population, in fact, both the worlds are his slaves and servitors.

ਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਲੋ ਕਰਾਮਸ਼ ਫਜ਼ੂੰ ਅਜ਼ ਸ਼ਮਾਰ ॥ ੬੭ ॥

Faazālo karāmasẖa pẖazūańa aza sẖamāra ] 67 ]

His praises and extols are innumerable and beyond any count. (67)
