Saronata Booaanda Pari Achavai Sabha Khga Lai Chaanda Parchaanda Saanghaare ॥170॥

Kaalee Aau Chaandi Kuvaanda Saanbhaara Kai Daita So Judha Nisaanga Sajiao Hai ॥

Kali and Chandi, holding the bow, have begun the war unhesitatingly with the demons.,

ਮਾਰ ਮਹਾ ਰਨ ਮਧ ਭਈ ਪਹਰੇਕ ਲਉ ਸਾਰ ਸੋ ਸਾਰ ਬਜਿਓ ਹੈ ॥

Maara Mahaa Ran Madha Bhaeee Pahareka Lau Saara So Saara Bajiao Hai ॥

ਛਿਨ ਮੈ ਡਾਰਿਓ ਮਾਰ ਸ੍ਰਉਨਤ ਬਿੰਦ ਦਾਨਵ ਮਹਾ ॥੧੭੨॥

Chhin Mai Daariao Maara Sarunata Biaanda Daanva Mahaa ॥172॥

In this way, both of them together , have killed the chief demon Raktavija in an instant.172.,

Tuchha Bache Bhaja Kai Ran Tiaaga Kai Suaanbha Nisuaanbha Pai Jaaei Pukaare ॥

A small number of demons were saved by running away, they went to Sumbh and Nisumbh and requested him:

ਸ੍ਰਉਨਤ ਬੀਜ ਹਨਿਓ ਦੁਹ ਨੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਅਉਰ ਮਹਾ ਭਟ ਮਾਰ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥

Sarunata Beeja Haniao Duha Ne Mili Aaur Mahaa Bhatta Maara Bidaare ॥

“Both of them together have killed Raktavija and also have killed and destroyed many others.”,

ਇਉ ਸੁਨਿ ਕੈ ਉਨਿ ਕੇ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਤਬ ਬੋਲਿ ਉਠਿਓ ਕਰਿ ਖਗ ਸੰਭਾਰੇ ॥

Eiau Suni Kai Auni Ke Mukh Te Taba Boli Autthiao Kari Khga Saanbhaare ॥

Hearing these words form their mouth, the king Sumbh spoke thus,

ਇਉ ਹਨਿ ਹੋ ਬਰ ਚੰਡਿ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਿ ਅਜਾ ਬਨ ਮੈ ਜਿਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਛਾਰੇ ॥੧੭੩॥

Eiau Hani Ho Bar Chaandi Parchaandi Ajaa Ban Mai Jima Siaangha Pachhaare ॥173॥

“I shall kill the fierce Chandi thus going in front of her just as the lion knocks down a goat in the forest.173.,
