ਤਬੈ ਦੇਵ ਧਾਏ ॥

Tabai Dev Dhaaee ॥

Then the gods ran towards the goddess

ਸਭੋ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਆਏ ॥

Sabho Seesa Niaaee ॥

With bowed heads.

ਸੁਮਨ ਧਾਰ ਬਰਖੇ ॥

Suman Dhaara Barkhe ॥

The flowers were showered

ਸਬੈ ਸਾਧ ਹਰਖੇ ॥੬॥

Sabai Saadha Harkhe ॥6॥

And all the saints (hods) were pleased.6.

ਕਰੀ ਦੇਬਿ ਅਰਚਾ ॥

Karee Debi Archaa ॥

The goddess was worshipped

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬੇਦ ਚਰਚਾ ॥

Barhama Beda Charchaa ॥

With the recitation of Vesdas manifested by Brahma.

ਜਬੈ ਪਾਇ ਲਾਗੇ ॥

Jabai Paaei Laage ॥

When they fell at the feet of the goddess

ਤਬੈ ਸੋਗ ਭਾਗੇ ॥੭॥

Tabai Soga Bhaage ॥7॥

All their sufferings ended.7.

ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ਸੁਨਾਈ ॥

Binaantee Sunaaeee ॥

They made their supplication,

ਭਵਾਨੀ ਰਿਝਾਈ ॥

Bhavaanee Rijhaaeee ॥

And pleased the goddess

ਸਬੈ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰੀ ॥

Sabai Sasatar Dhaaree ॥

Who wore all her weapons,

ਕਰੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੁਆਰੀ ॥੮॥

Karee Siaangha Suaaree ॥8॥

And mounted the lion.8.

ਕਰੇ ਘੰਟ ਨਾਦੰ ॥

Kare Ghaantta Naadaan ॥

ਧੁਨੰ ਨਿਰਬਿਖਾਦੰ ॥

Dhunaan Nribikhaadaan ॥

The songs resounded without interruption

ਸੁਨੋ ਦਈਤ ਰਾਜੰ ॥

Suno Daeeet Raajaan ॥

The sounds was heard by the demon-king,

ਸਜਿਯੋ ਜੁਧ ਸਾਜੰ ॥੯॥

Who made preparations for the war.9.

ਚੜਿਯੋ ਰਾਛਸੇਸੰ ॥

Charhiyo Raachhasesaan ॥

The demon-king marched forward

ਰਚੇ ਚਾਰ ਅਨੇਸੰ ॥

And appointed four generals
