ਜੀਅ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਤੇ ਸਬਹੂੰ ਹਟਾਯੋ ॥

Jeea Hiaansaa Te Sabahooaan Hattaayo ॥

ਬਿਨੁ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਕੀਅ ਜਗ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥

Binu Hiaansaa Keea Jaga Na Hoeee ॥

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਜਗ ਕਰੇ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥੧੧॥

Taa Te Jaga Kare Na Koeee ॥11॥

There can be no Yajna without the violence on beings, therefore no one performed Yajna now.11.

ਯਾ ਤੇ ਭਯੋ ਜਗਨ ਕੋ ਨਾਸਾ ॥

Yaa Te Bhayo Jagan Ko Naasaa ॥

ਜੋ ਜੀਯ ਹਨੈ ਹੋਇ ਉਪਹਾਸਾ ॥

Jo Jeeya Hani Hoei Aupahaasaa ॥

In this way, the practice of performing Yajnas was destroyed and anyone who used to kill beings, he was ridiculed.

ਜੀਅ ਮਰੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਜਗ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥

Jeea Mare Binu Jaga Na Hoeee ॥

ਜਗ ਕਰੈ ਪਾਵੈ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ ॥੧੨॥

Jaga Kari Paavai Nahee Koeee ॥12॥

There could be no Yajna without the killing of beings and if one performed a Yajna, he availed no merit.12.

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਦੀਯੋ ਸਭਨ ਉਪਦੇਸਾ ॥

Eih Bidhi Deeyo Sabhan Aupadesaa ॥

ਜਗ ਸਕੈ ਕੋ ਕਰ ਨ ਨਰੇਸਾ ॥

Jaga Sakai Ko Kar Na Naresaa ॥

The Arhant incarnation, instructed all in way, that no king could perform a Yajna.

ਅਪੰਥ ਪੰਥ ਸਭ ਲੋਗਨ ਲਾਯਾ ॥

Apaantha Paantha Sabha Logan Laayaa ॥

ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਕੋਊ ਕਰਨ ਨ ਪਾਯਾ ॥੧੩॥

Dharma Karma Koaoo Karn Na Paayaa ॥13॥

Everyone was put on a wrong path and no one was performing the action of Dharma.13.

ਅੰਨਿ ਅੰਨਿ ਤੇ ਹੋਤੁ ਜਿਯੋ ਘਾਸਿ ਘਾਸਿ ਤੇ ਹੋਇ ॥

Aanni Aanni Te Hotu Jiyo Ghaasi Ghaasi Te Hoei ॥

Just as corn is produced from corn, grass from grass

ਤੈਸੇ ਮਨੁਛ ਮਨੁਛ ਤੇ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਰਤਾ ਕੋਇ ॥੧੪॥

Taise Manuchha Manuchha Te Avaru Na Kartaa Koei ॥14॥

In the same way the man from man (thus there is no creator-Ishvara).14.

ਇਹ ਬ੍ਰਿਤ ਬੀਚ ਸਭੋ ਚਿਤ ਦੀਨਾ ॥

Eih Brita Beecha Sabho Chita Deenaa ॥

ਅਸੁਰ ਬੰਸ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਭਯੋ ਛੀਨਾ ॥੧੫॥

Asur Baansa Taa Te Bhayo Chheenaa ॥15॥

Everyone’s mind was absorbed in such things and in this way, the clan of demons became weak.15.

ਨ੍ਹਾਵਨ ਦੈਤ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋਈ ॥

Nahaavan Daita Na Paavai Koeee ॥

ਬਿਨੁ ਇਸਨਾਨ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥

Binu Eisanaan Pavitar Na Hoeee ॥

Such rules were propagated, that no demon could take a bath now, and without taking bath no one could become pure.
