Hanvaanta Maaraga Mo Mile Taba Mi`tartaa Taa Sona Karee ॥364॥

Roaming on the paths (of the forest) Ram met Hanuman and they both became friends.364.

ਤਿਨ ਆਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਘੁਰਾਜ ਕੇ ਕਪਿਰਾਜ ਪਾਇਨ ਡਾਰਯੋ ॥

Tin Aan Sree Raghuraaja Ke Kapiraaja Paaein Daarayo ॥

Hanuman brought Sugriva the king of monkeys to fall at the feet of Ram.

ਤਿਨ ਬੈਠ ਗੈਠ ਇਕੈਠ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਇਹ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਚਾਰਯੋ ॥

Tin Baittha Gaittha Eikaittha Havai Eih Bhaanti Maantar Bichaarayo ॥

And all of them unitedly held consultation amongst themselves,

ਕਪਿ ਬੀਰ ਧੀਰ ਸਧੀਰ ਕੇ ਭਟ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਬੀਰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕੈ ॥

Kapi Beera Dheera Sadheera Ke Bhatta Maantar Beera Bichaara Kai ॥

All the ministers sat down and gave their personal views.

ਅਪਨਾਇ ਸੁਗ੍ਰਿਵ ਕਉ ਚਲੁ ਕਪਿਰਾਜ ਬਾਲ ਸੰਘਾਰ ਕੈ ॥੩੬੫॥

Ram killed Bali, the king of monkeys and made Sugriva his permanent ally.365.

ਦਲ ਬਾਂਟ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਸਾ ਪਠਯੋ ਹਨਵੰਤ ਲੰਕ ਪਠੈ ਦਏ ॥

Dala Baantta Chaara Disaa Patthayo Hanvaanta Laanka Patthai Daee ॥

The army of monkeys was divided into four parts and sent in all the four directions and Hanuman was sent to Lanka.

ਲੈ ਮੁਦ੍ਰਕਾ ਲਖ ਬਾਰਿਧੈ ਜਹ ਸੀ ਹੁਤੀ ਤਹ ਜਾਤ ਭੇ ॥

Lai Mudarkaa Lakh Baaridhai Jaha` See Hutee Taha Jaata Bhe ॥

Hanuman took the ring (of Rama) and immediately went and crossed the sea, he reached the place where Sita was kept (by Ravana).

ਪੁਰ ਜਾਰਿ ਅੱਛ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਛੈ ਬਨ ਟਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਫਿਰ ਆਇਯੋ ॥

Pur Jaari A`chha Kumaara Chhai Ban Ttaari Kai Phri Aaeiyo ॥

Destroying Lanka, killing Akshay Kumar and devastating Ashok Vatika, Hanuman came back,

ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਚਾਰ ਜੋ ਅਮਰਾਰਿ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਰਾਮ ਤੀਰ ਜਤਾਇਯੋ ॥੩੬੬॥

Krita Chaara Jo Amaraari Ko Sabha Raam Teera Jataaeiyo ॥366॥

And presented before Ram the creations of Ravana, the ememy of gods.366.

ਦਲ ਜੋਰ ਕੋਰ ਕਰੋਰ ਲੈ ਬਡ ਘੋਰ ਤੋਰ ਸਭੈ ਚਲੇ ॥

Dala Jora Kora Karora Lai Bada Ghora Tora Sabhai Chale ॥

Now combining all the forces they all proceeded (with millions of fighters),

ਰਾਮਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਸੁਗ੍ਰੀਵ ਲਛਮਨ ਅਉਰ ਸੂਰ ਭਲੇ ਭਲੇ ॥

Raamchaandar Sugareeva Lachhaman Aaur Soora Bhale Bhale ॥

And there were mighty warriors like Ram, Sugriva, Lakshman,

ਜਾਮਵੰਤ ਸੁਖੈਨ ਨੀਲ ਹਣਵੰਤ ਅੰਗਦ ਕੇਸਰੀ ॥

Jaamvaanta Sukhin Neela Hanvaanta Aangada Kesree ॥

Jamvant, Sukhen, Neel, Hanuman, Angad etc. in their army.

ਕਪਿ ਪੂਤ ਜੂਥ ਪਜੂਥ ਲੈ ਉਮਡੇ ਚਹੂੰ ਦਿਸ ਕੈ ਝਰੀ ॥੩੬੭॥

Kapi Poota Jootha Pajootha Lai Aumade Chahooaan Disa Kai Jharee ॥367॥

The swarms of troops of the sons of monkeys, gushed forward like clouds from all the four directions.367.

ਪਾਟਿ ਬਾਰਿਧ ਰਾਜ ਕਉ ਕਰਿ ਬਾਟਿ ਲਾਂਘ ਗਏ ਜਬੈ ॥

Paatti Baaridha Raaja Kau Kari Baatti Laangha Gaee Jabai ॥

When after splitting the sea and forming a passage they all crossed the sea.

ਦੂਤ ਦਈਤਨ ਕੇ ਹੁਤੇ ਤਬ ਦਉਰ ਰਾਵਨ ਪੈ ਗਏ ॥

Doota Daeeetn Ke Hute Taba Daur Raavan Pai Gaee ॥

Then the messengers of Ravana fled towards him to convey the news.

ਰਨ ਸਾਜ ਬਾਜ ਸਭੈ ਕਰੋ ਇਕ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਮਨ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥

Ran Saaja Baaja Sabhai Karo Eika Benatee Man Maaneeaai ॥

They request him to get ready for war.

ਗੜ ਲੰਕ ਬੰਕ ਸੰਭਾਰੀਐ ਰਘੁਬੀਰ ਆਗਮ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥੩੬੮॥

Garha Laanka Baanka Saanbhaareeaai Raghubeera Aagama Jaaneeaai ॥368॥

And protect the beautiful city of Lanka from the entry of Ram.368.

ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਅੱਛ ਸੁ ਜਾਂਬਮਾਲ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਵੀਰ ਪਠੈ ਦਏ ॥

Dhoomar A`chha Su Jaanbamaala Bulaaei Veera Patthai Daee ॥

Ravana called Dhumraksha and Jambumali and sent them for war.

ਸੋਰ ਕੋਰ ਕ੍ਰੋਰ ਕੈ ਜਹਾਂ ਰਾਮ ਥੇ ਤਹਾਂ ਜਾਤ ਭੇ ॥

Sora Kora Karora Kai Jahaan Raam The Tahaan Jaata Bhe ॥

Both them shouting terribly reached near Ram.

ਰੋਸ ਕੈ ਹਨਵੰਤ ਥਾ ਪਗ ਰੋਪ ਪਾਵ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੀਯੰ ॥

Rosa Kai Hanvaanta Thaa Paga Ropa Paava Parhaareeyaan ॥

Hanuman in great rage firmly stood on the earth on one foot,

ਜੂਝਿ ਭੂਮਿ ਗਿਰਯੋ ਬਲੀ ਸੁਰ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਂਝਿ ਬਿਹਾਰੀਯੰ ॥੩੬੯॥

Joojhi Bhoomi Griyo Balee Sur Loka Maanjhi Bihaareeyaan ॥369॥

And attacked violently with his second foot with which the mighty Dhumraksha fell down and died.369.
