Chhi`de Charmaan ॥

The weapons, coming into contact with armours, are piercing the bodies

ਤੁੱਟੈ ਖੱਗੰ ॥

Tu`ttai Kh`gaan ॥

ਉੱਠੈ ਅੰਗੰ ॥੫੦੭॥

Auo`tthai Aangaan ॥507॥

The spars are breaking and the sparks of fire are coming out from them.507.

ਨੱਚੇ ਤਾਜੀ ॥

Na`che Taajee ॥

ਗੱਜੇ ਗਾਜੀ ॥

Ga`je Gaajee ॥

The horses are dancing and the warriors are thundering

ਡਿੱਗੇ ਵੀਰੰ ॥

Di`ge Veeraan ॥

ਤੱਜੇ ਤੀਰੰ ॥੫੦੮॥

Ta`je Teeraan ॥508॥

They are falling while discharging the arrows.508.

ਝੁੱਮੇਂ ਸੂਰੰ ॥

Jhu`mena Sooraan ॥

ਘੁੱਮੀ ਹੂਰੰ ॥

Ghu`mee Hooraan ॥

ਕੱਛੇ ਬਾਣੰ ॥

Ka`chhe Baanaan ॥

ਮੱਤੇ ਮਾਣੰ ॥੫੦੯॥

Ma`te Maanaan ॥509॥

Seeing the heavenly damsels moving, the warriors are swinging and, being intoxicated, are discharging arrows.509.

ਤਹ ਭਯੋ ਘੋਰ ਆਹਵ ਅਪਾਰ ॥

Taha Bhayo Ghora Aahava Apaara ॥

ਰਣ ਭੂੰਮਿ ਝੂਮਿ ਜੁੱਝੇ ਜੁਝਾਰ ॥

Ran Bhooaanmi Jhoomi Ju`jhe Jujhaara ॥

In this way, the war ensued and many warriors fell in the field

ਇਤ ਰਾਮ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਅਤਕਾਇ ਉੱਤ ॥

Eita Raam Bharaata Atakaaei Auo`ta ॥

ਰਿਸ ਜੁੱਝ ਉੱਝਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਪੁੱਤ ॥੫੧੦॥

Risa Ju`jha Auo`jhare Raaja Pu`ta ॥510॥

On one side there is Lakshman, brother of Ram and on the other there is the demon Atkaaye and both these princes are fighting with each other.510.

Taba Raam Bharaata Ati Keena Rosa ॥

ਜਿਮ ਪਰਤ ਅਗਨ ਘ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਰਤ ਜੋਸ ॥

Jima Parta Agan Ghrita Karta Josa ॥

Then Lakshman became highly infuriated and increased it with zeal like the fire blazing fiercely when the ghee is poured over it

Barn Aapa Ma`dha Baahata Aneka ॥

ਬਰਣੈ ਨ ਜਾਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਏਕ ਏਕ ॥

Barni Na Jaahi Kahi Eeka Eeka ॥

Getting himself wounded he discharged so many arrows which are indescribable

ਉੱਝਰੇ ਵੀਰ ਜੁੱਝਣ ਜੁਝਾਰ ॥

Auo`jhare Veera Ju`jhan Jujhaara ॥

ਜੈ ਸਬਦ ਦੇਵ ਭਾਖਤ ਪੁਕਾਰ ॥੫੧੨॥

Jai Sabada Dev Bhaakhta Pukaara ॥512॥

These brave fighters are absorbed in fight and on the other hand, the gods are raising the sound of victory.512.
