He is the Lord of nature, he is Purusha, he is the whole world and higher Brahman.707.

ਬੁਲਯੋ ਚਤ੍ਰ ਭ੍ਰਾਤੰ ਸੁਮਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਕੁਮਾਰੰ ॥

Bulayo Chatar Bharaataan Sumitaraa Kumaaraan ॥

ਕਰਯੋ ਮਾਥੁਰੇਸੰ ਤਿਸੇ ਰਾਵਣਾਰੰ ॥

Karyo Maathuresaan Tise Raavanaaraan ॥

One day Ram sent for the son of Sumitra and said to him :

ਤਹਾਂ ਏਕ ਦਈਤੰ ਲਵੰ ਉਗ੍ਰ ਤੇਜੰ ॥

Tahaan Eeka Daeeetaan Lavaan Augar Tejaan ॥

ਦਯੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਅੱਪੰ ਸਿਵੰ ਸੂਲ ਭੇਜੰ ॥੭੦੮॥

Dayo Taahi A`paan Sivaan Soola Bhejaan ॥708॥

In a distant land there lives a huge demon named Lavan, who has got the trident of Shiva,708.

ਪਠਯੋ ਤੀਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੰ ਦੀਯੋ ਏਕ ਰਾਮੰ ॥

Patthayo Teera Maantaraan Deeyo Eeka Raamaan ॥

ਮਹਾਂ ਜੁੱਧ ਮਾਲੀ ਮਹਾਂ ਧਰਮ ਧਾਮੰ ॥

Mahaan Ju`dha Maalee Mahaan Dharma Dhaamaan ॥

Ram gave him an arrow after reciting a mantra which was a great weapon from Ram, the abode of Dharma.

ਸਿਵੰ ਸੂਲ ਹੀਣੰ ਜਵੈ ਸੱਤ੍ਰ ਜਾਨਯੋ ॥

Sivaan Soola Heenaan Javai Sa`tar Jaanyo ॥

ਤਬੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਮਹਾਂ ਜੁੱਧ ਠਾਨਯੋ ॥੭੦੯॥

Tabai Saangi Taa Kai Mahaan Ju`dha Tthaanyo ॥709॥

Ram said to him “When you see the enemy without the trident of Shiva, then wage a war with him.”709.

ਲਯੋ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਤੀਰੰ ਚਲਯੋ ਨਿਆਇ ਸੀਸੰ ॥

Layo Maantar Teeraan Chalayo Niaaei Seesaan ॥

ਤ੍ਰਿਪੁਰ ਜੁੱਧ ਜੇਤਾ ਚਲਯੋ ਜਾਣ ਈਸੰ ॥

Tripur Ju`dha Jetaa Chalayo Jaan Eeesaan ॥

Shatrughan taking that charmed arrows and bowing his head started for his errand and it seemed that he was going as conquerer of the three worlds

ਲਖਯੋ ਸੂਲ ਹੀਣੰ ਰਿਪੰ ਜਉਣ ਕਾਲੰ ॥

Lakhyo Soola Heenaan Ripaan Jauna Kaaln ॥

ਤਬੈ ਕੋਪ ਮੰਡਯੋ ਰਣੰ ਬਿਕਰਾਲੰ ॥੭੧੦॥

Tabai Kopa Maandayo Ranaan Bikaraalaan ॥710॥

When he saw the enemy without the trident of Shiva, then finding an opportunity, he furiously began to wage war with him.710.

ਭਜੈ ਘਾਇ ਖਾਯੰ ਅਗਾਯੰਤ ਸੂਰੰ ॥

Bhajai Ghaaei Khaayaan Agaayaanta Sooraan ॥

ਹਸੇ ਕੰਕ ਬੰਕੰ ਘੁਮੀ ਗੈਣ ਹੂਰੰ ॥

Hase Kaanka Baankaan Ghumee Gain Hooraan ॥

After getting wounded the warriors began to run away and the crows began to caw o seeing the corpse. The heavenly damsels began to wander in the sky

ਉਠੇ ਟੋਪ ਟੁੱਕੰ ਕਮਾਣੰ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥

Autthe Ttopa Ttu`kaan Kamaanaan Parhaare ॥

ਰਣੰ ਰੋਸ ਰੱਜੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਛੱਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰੇ ॥੭੧੧॥

Ranaan Rosa Ra`je Mahaan Chha`tar Dhaare ॥711॥

The helmets broke with the blow of arrows and the great sovereigns were highly enraged in the battlefield.711.

ਫਿਰਯੋ ਅਪ ਦਈਤੰ ਮਹਾ ਰੋਸ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥

Phriyo Apa Daeeetaan Mahaa Rosa Kai Kai ॥

ਹਣੇ ਰਾਮ ਭ੍ਰਾਤੰ ਵਹੈ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥

Hane Raam Bharaataan Vahai Baan Lai Kai ॥

That demon in great rage revolved and showered a volley of arrows on the brother of Ram

ਰਿਪੰ ਨਾਸ ਹੇਤੰ ਦੀਯੋ ਰਾਮ ਅੱਪੰ ॥

Ripaan Naasa Hetaan Deeyo Raam A`paan ॥

ਹਣਿਯੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਸੀਸੰ ਦ੍ਰੁਗਾ ਜਾਪ ਜੱਪੰ ॥੭੧੨॥

Haniyo Taahi Seesaan Darugaa Jaapa Ja`paan ॥712॥

The arrows which was given by Ram for the destruction of the enemy, Shatrughan discharged it on the demon, repeating the name of Durga.712.

ਗਿਰਯੋ ਝੂਮ ਭੂਮੰ ਅਘੂਮਯੋ ਅਰਿ ਘਾਯੰ ॥

Griyo Jhooma Bhoomaan Aghoomayo Ari Ghaayaan ॥

ਹਣਯੋ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਹੰਤਾ ਤਿਸੈ ਚਉਪ ਚਾਯੰ ॥

Hanyo Satar Haantaa Tisai Chaupa Chaayaan ॥

The enemy received a wounded and while revolving, he fell down on the earth and he was killed by Shatrughan
