Taking the bit of the bow in his hand Krishna began to kill there the great heroes

ਧਾਇ ਪਰੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬੀਰ ਤਬੈ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਕੁਪਿ ਜਾਗਿਯੋ ॥

Dhaaei Pare Nripa Beera Tabai Tin Ke Man Mai Ati Hee Kupi Jaagiyo ॥

There those heroes also fell upon Krishna in great rage

ਫੇਰਿ ਲਗਿਯੋ ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਰਨ ਜੁਧਹ ਕੇ ਰਸ ਮੋ ਅਨੁਰਾਗਿਯੋ ॥

Pheri Lagiyo Tin Ko Hari Maaran Judhaha Ke Rasa Mo Anuraagiyo ॥

Krishna also absorbed in fighting also began to kill them

ਸੋਰ ਭਯੋ ਅਤਿ ਠਉਰ ਤਹਾ ਸੁਨ ਕੈ ਜਿਹ ਕੋ ਸਿਵ ਜੂ ਉਠਿ ਭਾਗਿਯੋ ॥੮੩੫॥

Where great warriors are standing firmly, there Krishna is fighting greatly enraged’

ਐਸੇ ਬੀਰ ਗਿਰੇ ਜੈਸੇ ਬਾਢੀ ਕੇ ਕਟੇ ਤੇ ਰੂਖ ਗਿਰੇ ਬਿਸੰਭਾਰੁ ਅਸਿ ਹਾਥਨ ਨਹੀ ਗਹੇ ॥

Aaise Beera Gire Jaise Baadhee Ke Katte Te Rookh Gire Bisaanbhaaru Asi Haathan Nahee Gahe ॥

The warriors are falling like the trees being cut by the carpenter

ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਤਰੰਗਨੀ ਉਠੀ ਹੈ ਤਹਾ ਜੋਧਨ ਤੈ ਸੀਸ ਸਮ ਬਟੇ ਅਸਿ ਨਕ੍ਰ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਬਹੇ ॥

Ati Hee Taraanganee Autthee Hai Tahaa Jodhan Tai Seesa Sama Batte Asi Nakar Bhaanti Havai Bahe ॥

There is a flood of warriors and the heads and swords are flowing the blood

ਗੋਰੇ ਪੈ ਬਰਦ ਚੜਿ ਆਇ ਥੇ ਬਰਦ ਪਤਿ ਗੋਰੀ ਗਉਰਾ ਗੋਰੇ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਰਾਤੇ ਰਾਤੇ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹੇ ॥੮੩੬॥

Krishna and Balram fought the battle in great ire, which caused all the warriors to run away

ਐਸੇ ਝੂਮਿ ਪਰੇ ਬੀਰ ਮਾਰੇ ਧਨ ਟੂਕਨ ਕੇ ਮਾਨੋ ਕੰਸ ਰਾਜਾ ਜੂ ਕੋ ਸਾਰੋ ਦਲੁ ਸ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥

Aaise Jhoomi Pare Beera Maare Dhan Ttookan Ke Maano Kaansa Raajaa Joo Ko Saaro Dalu Savai Rahiyo ॥

The warriors fell on being struck by the bits of the bow and it seemed that the whole army of king Kansa fell on the earth

ਕੇਤੇ ਉਠਿ ਭਾਗੇ ਕੇਤੇ ਜੁਧ ਹੀ ਕੋ ਫੇਰਿ ਲਾਗੇ ਸੋਊ ਸਮ ਬਨ ਹਰ ਹਰਿ ਤਾਤੋ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥

Many warriors got up and ran away and many were again absorbed in fighting

ਗਜਨ ਕੇ ਸੁੰਡਨ ਤੇ ਐਸੇ ਛੀਟੈ ਛੂਟੀ ਜਾ ਤੇ ਅੰਬਰ ਅਨੂਪ ਲਾਲ ਛੀਟ ਛਬਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥੮੩੭॥

Gajan Ke Suaandan Te Aaise Chheettai Chhoottee Jaa Te Aanbar Anoop Laala Chheetta Chhabi Havai Rahiyo ॥837॥

The Lord Krishna also began to burn with anger like the hot water in the forest, there is splash of blood from the trunks of the elephants and the whole sky is looking reddish like the red splash.837
