ਕਾਢਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਪਹੂੰਚਿਯੋ ਤਬੈ ਤੁਰਤ ਹੀ ਜਾਰ

Kaadhi Kripaan Pahooaanchiyo Tabai Turta Hee Jaara ॥

He took out his sword and stepped forward.

ਭਰਿ ਮੂੰਠੀ ਕਰ ਰੇਤ ਕੀ ਗਯੋ ਆਖਿ ਮੈ ਡਾਰਿ ॥੭॥

Bhari Mooaantthee Kar Reta Kee Gayo Aakhi Mai Daari ॥7॥

Then he (the friend) pinched some sand and threw in his eyes.(7)

Aandha Bhayo Baittho Rahiyo Gayo Jaara Taba Bhaaja ॥

He became blind and kept sitting and the lover ran away.

Eeka Chachhu Kee Baata Suni Reejhi Rahe Mahaaraaja ॥8॥

Thus listening to the tale of one-eyed man, the Raja was much please.(8)(1)
