ਜੋਗੀ ਗਏ ਭਏ ਘਰ ਬਾਰੀ ॥

Jogee Gaee Bhaee Ghar Baaree ॥

Roop Kalaa Taa Kee Bar Naaree ॥

ਜਨੁ ਰਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਤੇ ਭਈ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ॥੨॥

Janu Rati Pati Te Bhaeee Kumaaree ॥2॥

Roop Kala was his wife, who appeared to be born of the Cupid’s wedlock.(2)

ਅਧਿਕ ਰਾਵ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਬਸਿ ਰਹੈ ॥

Adhika Raava Taa Ke Basi Rahai ॥

ਜੋ ਵਹੁ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਕਹੈ ਸੁ ਕਹੈ ॥

Jo Vahu Mukh Te Kahai Su Kahai ॥

A number of Rajas were under his suzerainty.

ਰੂਪ ਮਤੀ ਤਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਨ ਡਰੈ ॥

Roop Matee Tih Taraasa Na Dari ॥

ਜੋ ਚਿਤ ਭਾਵੇ ਸੋਈ ਕਰੈ ॥੩॥

Jo Chita Bhaave Soeee Kari ॥3॥

But Roop Kala never feared him and she acted whatever the way she willed.(3)
