ਪੂਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਦਈ ਪਿਤਾ ਪੂਤ ਸਿਰ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Poota Pitaa Ke Sri Daeee Pitaa Poota Sri Maahi ॥
(In the melee) Even the father killed the son and the son killed the father,
ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ੯੩ - ੨੬/੧ - ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ
ਇਸੀ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਸਭ ਕਟਿ ਮਰੇ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਸੁਭਟ ਕੋਊ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੨੬॥
Eisee Bhaanti Sabha Katti Mare Rahiyo Subhatta Koaoo Naahi ॥26॥
