ਘਣੰ ਘੰਟ ਬਾਜੰ ॥

Ghanaan Ghaantta Baajaan ॥

Many gongs resound and hearing their sound, !

ਧੁਣੰ ਮੇਘ ਲਾਜੰ ॥

Dhunaan Megha Laajaan ॥

The clouds feel ashamed !

ਭਯੋ ਸਦ ਏਵੰ ॥

Bhayo Sada Eevaan ॥

Such a sound is produced that it appears !

ਹੜਿਯੋ ਨੀਰ ਧੇਵੰ ॥੨੦॥

Harhiyo Neera Dhevaan ॥20॥

Like the sound of the surging waves of the sea ! 20

ਘੁਰੰ ਘੁੰਘਰੇਯੰ ॥

Ghuraan Ghuaanghareyaan ॥

The small bells of the feet jingle, !

ਧੁਣੰ ਨੇਵਰੇਯੰ ॥

Dhunaan Nevareyaan ॥

And the anklets rattle !

ਮਹਾ ਨਾਦ ਨਾਦੰ ॥

Mahaa Naada Naadaan ॥

Such sounds are peaceful sounds !

ਸੁਰੰ ਨਿਰ ਬਿਖਾਦੰ ॥੨੧॥

Suraan Nri Bikhaadaan ॥21॥

Against the great resounding (of gongs) ! 21

ਸਿਰੰ ਮਾਲ ਰਾਜੰ ॥

Srin Maala Raajaan ॥

The rosary of heads glorified his neck, !

ਲਖੇ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਲਾਜੰ ॥

Lakhe Rudar Laajaan ॥

Seeing which the god Shiva feels abashed !

ਸੁਭੇ ਚਾਰ ਚਿਤ੍ਰੰ ॥

Subhe Chaara Chitaraan ॥

Such a beautiful image appears magnificent !

ਪਰਮੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੰ ॥੨੨॥

Parmaan Pavitaraan ॥22॥

And it is greatly holy ! 22

ਮਹਾ ਗਰਜ ਗਰਜੰ ॥

Mahaa Garja Garjaan ॥

He produces the very loud roar, !

ਸੁਣੇ ਦੂਤ ਲਰਜੰ ॥

Sune Doota Larjaan ॥

Hearing which the messengers (of Yama) tremble !

ਸ੍ਰਵੰ ਸ੍ਰੋਣ ਸੋਹੰ ॥

Sarvaan Sarona Sohaan ॥

The blood oozes (from his rosary of skulls) glorifying his neck !

ਮਹਾ ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹੰ ॥੨੩॥

Mahaa Maan Mohaan ॥23॥

And it is fascinating his great honour ! 23
