ਨਮੋ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵੰ ਨਮੋ ਖੜਗ ਧਾਰੰ ॥
Namo Dev Devaan Namo Khrhaga Dhaaraan ॥
Salutation to the God of gods and salutation to the wielder of sword,
ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਅ. ੧ - ੮੫/੧ - ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ
ਸਦਾ ਏਕ ਰੂਪ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਬਿਕਾਰੰ ॥
Sadaa Eeka Roop Sadaa Nribikaaraan ॥
Who is ever monomorphic and ever without vices.

Salutation to Him, who manifests the qualities of activity (rajas), rhythm (sattava) and morbidity (tamas).
