ਐਸੋ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਸੁੰਭ ਹੈ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਰੇ ਬਰਿ ਚੰਡ ॥੮੩॥

Aaiso Bhoopti Suaanbha Hai Taahi Bare Bari Chaanda ॥83॥

“Such is the king Sumbh, O Superb Chandi, marry him.”83.,

ਸੁਨਿ ਰਾਕਸ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਕੋ ਦੇਵੀ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੀਨ ॥

Suni Raakasa Kee Baata Ko Devee Auo`tar Deena ॥

ਜੁਧ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਹਿ ਬਰੋ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਦੈਤ ਮਤਹੀਨ ॥੮੪॥

Judha Kari Binu Nahi Baro Sunahu Daita Mataheena ॥84॥

ਇਹ ਸੁਨਿ ਦਾਨਵ ਚਪਲ ਗਤਿ ਗਇਓ ਸੁੰਭ ਕੇ ਪਾਸ ॥

Eih Suni Daanva Chapala Gati Gaeiao Suaanbha Ke Paasa ॥

Hearing this, that demon went to king Sumbh very swiftly,

ਪਰਿ ਪਾਇਨ ਕਰ ਜੋਰ ਕੈ ਕਰੀ ਏਕ ਅਰਦਾਸ ॥੮੫॥

Pari Paaein Kar Jora Kai Karee Eeka Ardaasa ॥85॥

And with folded hands, falling at his feet, he supplicated thus:85.,

ਅਉਰ ਰਤਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਧਾਮ ਤੁਅ ਤ੍ਰੀਆ ਰਤਨ ਤੇ ਹੀਨ ॥

Aaur Ratan Nripa Dhaam Tua Tareeaa Ratan Te Heena ॥

“O king, Thou hast all other gems except the gem of wife,

ਬਧੂ ਏਕ ਬਨ ਮੈ ਬਸੈ ਤਿਹ ਤੁਮ ਬਰੋ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ॥੮੬॥

Badhoo Eeka Ban Mai Basai Tih Tuma Baro Parbeena ॥86॥
