All the warriors ran and gathered at one place.

ਲਯੋ ਘੇਰਿ ਰਾਮੰ ॥

Layo Gheri Raamaan ॥

ਘਟਾ ਸੂਰ ਸ੍ਯਾਮੰ ॥੧੪॥

Ghattaa Soora Saiaamaan ॥14॥

And the besieged Parashurama, just as the clouds besiege the sun.14.

ਕਮਾਣੰ ਕੜੰਕੇ ॥

Kamaanaan Karhaanke ॥

ਭਏ ਨਾਦ ਬੰਕੇ ॥

Bhaee Naada Baanke ॥

With the crackling of bows a queer sound was produced,

ਘਟਾ ਜਾਣਿ ਸਿਆਹੰ ॥

Ghattaa Jaani Siaahaan ॥

ਚੜਿਓ ਤਿਉ ਸਿਪਾਹੰ ॥੧੫॥

Charhiao Tiau Sipaahaan ॥15॥

And the army swarmed like the dark clouds.15.

ਭਏ ਨਾਦ ਬੰਕੇ ॥

Bhaee Naada Baanke ॥

ਸੁ ਸੇਲੰ ਧਮੰਕੇ ॥

Su Selaan Dhamaanke ॥

With the clattering of the daggers, a queer sound was produced,

ਗਜਾ ਜੂਹ ਗਜੇ ॥

Gajaa Jooha Gaje ॥

ਸੁਭੰ ਸੰਜ ਸਜੇ ॥੧੬॥

Subhaan Saanja Saje ॥16॥

The elephants began to roar in groups and bedecked with armour, the warriors seemed impressive.16.

ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਢੂਕੇ ॥

Chahooaan Aor Dhooke ॥

ਗਜੰ ਜੂਹ ਝੂਕੇ ॥

Gajaan Jooha Jhooke ॥

Gathering from all the four sides, the groups of elephants began a fight.

ਸਰੰ ਬ੍ਯੂਹ ਛੂਟੇ ॥

Saraan Baiooha Chhootte ॥

ਰਿਪੰ ਸੀਸ ਫੂਟੇ ॥੧੭॥

Ripaan Seesa Phootte ॥17॥

The volleys of arrows were shot and the heads of the kings were shattered. 17.

ਉਠੇ ਨਾਦ ਭਾਰੀ ॥

Autthe Naada Bhaaree ॥

ਰਿਸੇ ਛਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ ॥

Rise Chhatardhaaree ॥

The frightful sound emanated and all the kings got infuriated.

ਸਿਵੰ ਜੇਮ ਮੈਨੰ ॥੧੮॥

Parashurama was besieged by the army like Shiva encircled by the forces of Cupid.18.

All being absorbed and dyed with the dye of war, feared the glory of others.

ਰਹਿਯੋ ਗੈਣ ਪੂਰੰ ॥੧੯॥

So much dust arose by (the movement of the) army that the sky was filled with dust.19.

ਮਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਗਜੇ ॥

The drums resounded violently and the mighty warriors began to roar.

Mano Siaangha Chhutte ॥

ਹਿਮੰ ਬੀਰ ਜੁਟੇ ॥੨੦॥

Himaan Beera Jutte ॥20॥

The warriors were fighting each other like the freely roaming lions.20.

ਕਰੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਮਾਰੰ ॥

Kari Maari Maaraan ॥

ਬਕੈ ਬਿਕਰਾਰੰ ॥

Bakai Bikaraaraan ॥

With the shouts of “kill, kill”, the warriors were uttering dreadful words.

ਗਿਰੈ ਅੰਗ ਭੰਗੰ ॥

Grii Aanga Bhaangaan ॥

ਦਵੰ ਜਾਨ ਦੰਗੰ ॥੨੧॥

Davaan Jaan Daangaan ॥21॥

The chopped limbs of the warriors are falling and it appeared that there is fire on all the four sides.21.

ਗਏ ਛੂਟ ਅਸਤ੍ਰੰ ॥

Gaee Chhootta Asataraan ॥

ਭਜੈ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਅਸਤ੍ਰੰ ॥

Bhajai Havai Nrisataraan ॥

The weapons began to fall from the hands and the warriors began to run away empty-handed.

ਖਿਲੈ ਸਾਰ ਬਾਜੀ ॥

Khilai Saara Baajee ॥

ਤੁਰੇ ਤੁੰਦ ਤਾਜੀ ॥੨੨॥

Ture Tuaanda Taajee ॥22॥

The horses were neighing and were running hither and thither with swiftness.22.

ਭੁਜਾ ਠੋਕਿ ਬੀਰੰ ॥

Bhujaa Tthoki Beeraan ॥

ਕਰੇ ਘਾਇ ਤੀਰੰ ॥

Kare Ghaaei Teeraan ॥

The warriors are wounding the enemy by showering their arrows they were also patting their arms.

Neje Gada Gaadhe ॥

ਮਚੇ ਬੈਰ ਬਾਢੇ ॥੨੩॥

Mache Bari Baadhe ॥23॥

The warriors by planting their daggers, increasing their inimical intentions, are waging a terrible war. 23

ਘਣੈ ਘਾਇ ਪੇਲੇ ॥

Ghani Ghaaei Pele ॥

ਮਨੋ ਫਾਗ ਖੇਲੇ ॥

Mano Phaaga Khele ॥

Many wounds are being inflicted and the wounded warriors appear to be playing Holi

ਕਰੀ ਬਾਣ ਬਰਖਾ ॥

Karee Baan Barkhaa ॥

ਭਏ ਜੀਤ ਕਰਖਾ ॥੨੪॥

Bhaee Jeet Karkhaa ॥24॥

Showering their arrows, all are desirous of the victory.24.

Gire Aanta Ghoomaan ॥

ਮਨੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਝੂਮੰ ॥

Mano Brichha Jhoomaan ॥

ਟੂਟੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰੰ ॥

Ttootte Sasatar Asataraan ॥

ਭਜੇ ਹੁਐ ਨਿਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰੰ ॥੨੫॥

Bhaje Huaai Nri Asataraan ॥25॥

The warriors are roaming and falling like the swinging, after the breaking of their weapons and becoming trees armless, the warriors sped away.25.

Tite Raam Ghaaee ॥

ਚਲੇ ਭਾਜਿ ਸਰਬੰ ॥

ਭਯੋ ਦੂਰ ਗਰਬੰ ॥੨੬॥

Bhayo Doora Garbaan ॥26॥

All the enemies who came in front of him, Parashurama killed them all. Ultimately all of them ran away and their pride was shattered.26.
