Atha Maataa Milanaan ॥

Now begins the description of the Meeting with the Mother :

ਸੁਨੇ ਰਾਮ ਆਏ ॥

Sune Raam Aaee ॥

ਸਭੈ ਲੋਗ ਧਾਏ ॥

Sabhai Loga Dhaaee ॥

When the people heard that Ram had returned, then all the people ran and fell at his feet

ਲਗੇ ਆਨ ਪਾਯੰ ॥

Lage Aan Paayaan ॥

ਮਿਲੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਯੰ ॥੬੬੯॥

Mile Raam Raayaan ॥669॥

Ram met all of them.669.

ਕੋਊ ਚਉਰ ਢਾਰੈਂ ॥

Koaoo Chaur Dhaaraina ॥

ਕੋਊ ਪਾਨ ਖੁਆਰੈਂ ॥

Koaoo Paan Khuaaraina ॥

Someone swung she fly-whisk, someone offered the betel

ਪਰੇ ਮਾਤ ਪਾਯੰ ॥

Pare Maata Paayaan ॥

ਲਏ ਕੰਠ ਲਾਯੰ ॥੬੭੦॥

Laee Kaanttha Laayaan ॥670॥

Ram fell at the feet of his mother and his mothers hugged him to their bosom.670.

ਮਿਲੈ ਕੰਠ ਰੋਵੈਂ ॥

Milai Kaanttha Rovaina ॥

ਮਨੋ ਸੋਕ ਧੋਵੈਂ ॥

Mano Soka Dhovaina ॥

On being hugged he was weeping in order to wash away all his suffering

ਕਰੈਂ ਬੀਰ ਬਾਤੈਂ ॥

Karina Beera Baataina ॥

ਸੁਨੇ ਸਰਬ ਮਾਤੈਂ ॥੬੭੧॥

Sune Sarab Maataina ॥671॥

The brave Ram began to talk and all the mothers listened.671.

ਮਿਲੈ ਲੱਛ ਮਾਤੰ ॥

Milai La`chha Maataan ॥

ਪਰੇ ਪਾਇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤੰ ॥

Pare Paaei Bharaataan ॥

ਕਰਿਯੋ ਦਾਨ ਏਤੋ ॥

Kariyo Daan Eeto ॥

ਗਨੈ ਕਉਨ ਕੇਤੋ ॥੬੭੨॥

Gani Kauna Keto ॥672॥

Then he met the mother of Lakshman and the brother Bharat and Shatrughan touched his feet. On account of the joy of union, unaccountable charity was given.672.

ਮਿਲੇ ਭਰਥ ਮਾਤੰ ॥

Mile Bhartha Maataan ॥

ਕਹੀ ਸਰਬ ਬਾਤੰ ॥

Kahee Sarab Baataan ॥

Then Ram met the mother of Bharat and told her all that happened with him

ਧਨੰ ਮਾਤ ਤੋ ਕੋ ॥

Dhanaan Maata To Ko ॥

ਅਰਿਣੀ ਕੀਨ ਮੋ ਕੋ ॥੬੭੩॥

Arinee Keena Mo Ko ॥673॥

Ram said, “O mother, I am thankful to you because you have made me free from indebtedness.673.

ਕਹਾ ਦੋਸ ਤੇਰੈ ॥

Kahaa Dosa Terai ॥

ਲਿਖੀ ਲੇਖ ਮੇਰੈ ॥

Likhee Lekh Merai ॥

ਹੁਨੀ ਹੋ ਸੁ ਹੋਈ ॥

Hunee Ho Su Hoeee ॥

ਕਹੈ ਕਉਨ ਕੋਈ ॥੬੭੪॥

Kahai Kauna Koeee ॥674॥

“You are not to be blamed for this, because it was recorded in my destiny, whatever happens, has to happen, none can describe it.”674.

ਕਰੋ ਬੋਧ ਮਾਤੰ ॥

Karo Bodha Maataan ॥

ਮਿਲਯੋ ਫੇਰਿ ਭ੍ਰਾਤੰ ॥

Milayo Pheri Bharaataan ॥

ਸੁਨਯੋ ਭਰਥ ਧਾਏ ॥

Sunayo Bhartha Dhaaee ॥

ਪਗੰ ਸੀਸ ਲਾਏ ॥੬੭੫॥

Pagaan Seesa Laaee ॥675॥

He pacified his mother in this way and then he met his brother Bharat. Bharat on hearing his arrival ran towards him and touched his head with the feet of Ram.675.

ਭਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਅੰਕੰ ॥

Bhare Raam Aankaan ॥

ਮਿਟੀ ਸਰਬ ਸੰਕੰ ॥

Mittee Sarab Saankaan ॥

Ram hugged him to his bosom and cleared all the doubts

ਮਿਲਯੰ ਸੱਤ੍ਰ ਹੰਤਾ ॥

Milayaan Sa`tar Haantaa ॥

ਸਰੰ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਗੰਤਾ ॥੬੭੬॥

Saraan Saastar Gaantaa ॥676॥

Then he met Shatrugan, who had expert knowledge of weapons and Shastras.676.

ਜਟੰ ਧੂਰ ਝਾਰੀ ॥

Jattaan Dhoora Jhaaree ॥

ਪਗੰ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਰੀ ॥

Pagaan Raam Raaree ॥

ਕਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਅਰਚਾ ॥

Karee Raaja Archaa ॥

ਦਿਜੰ ਬੇਦ ਚਰਚਾ ॥੬੭੭॥

Dijaan Beda Charchaa ॥677॥

The brothers cleansed the dust from the feet and matted hair of Ram. They worlshipped him in royal way and the Brahmins recited the Vedas.677.

ਕਰੈਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਨੰ ॥

Karina Geet Gaanaan ॥

ਭਰੇ ਵੀਰ ਮਾਨੰ ॥

Bhare Veera Maanaan ॥

ਦੀਯੰ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੰ ॥

Deeyaan Raam Raajaan ॥

ਸਰੇ ਸਰਬ ਕਾਜੰ ॥੬੭੮॥

Sare Sarab Kaajaan ॥678॥

All the brothers sang full of love. Ram was made the king and all the works were completed in this way.678.

ਬੁਲੈ ਬਿੱਪ ਲੀਨੇ ॥

Bulai Bi`pa Leene ॥

ਸ੍ਰੁੱਤੋਚਾਰ ਕੀਨੇ ॥

Saru`tochaara Keene ॥

The Brahmins were called in and with the recitation of Vedic mantras Ram was enthroned

ਭਏ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜਾ ॥

Bhaee Raam Raajaa ॥

ਬਜੇ ਜੀਤ ਬਾਜਾ ॥੬੭੯॥

Baje Jeet Baajaa ॥679॥

On all the four sides resounded the musical instruments denoting victory.679.
