ਦਈਤਨ ਕੇ ਭਰ ਤੇ ਡਰ ਤੇ ਜੁ ਭਈ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀ ਬਹੁ ਭਾਰਹਿੰ ਭਾਰੀ ॥

Daeeetn Ke Bhar Te Dar Te Ju Bhaeee Prithamee Bahu Bhaarahiaan Bhaaree ॥

ਗਾਇ ਕੋ ਰੂਪੁ ਤਬੈ ਧਰ ਕੈ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਰਿਖਿ ਪੈ ਚਲਿ ਜਾਇ ਪੁਕਾਰੀ ॥

Gaaei Ko Roopu Tabai Dhar Kai Barhamaa Rikhi Pai Chali Jaaei Pukaaree ॥

When the earth was overburdened by the weight and fear of the demons, she assumed the form of a cow and went to the sage Brahma

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਤੁਮ ਹੂੰ ਹਮ ਹੂੰ ਮਿਲਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਤਹਾ ਜਹ ਹੈ ਬ੍ਰਤਿਧਾਰੀ ॥

Barhama Kahiyo Tuma Hooaan Hama Hooaan Mili Jaahi Tahaa Jaha Hai Bartidhaaree ॥

ਜਾਇ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਨਤੀ ਤਿਹ ਕੀ ਰਘੁਨਾਥ ਸੁਨੋ ਇਹ ਬਾਤ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥੯॥

Jaaei Kari Bintee Tih Kee Raghunaatha Suno Eih Baata Hamaaree ॥9॥

Brahma said, “We two will go to the supreme Vishnu in order to request him to listen to our supplication.”9.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੋ ਅਗ੍ਰ ਸਭੈ ਧਰ ਕੈ ਸੁ ਤਹਾ ਕੋ ਚਲੇ ਤਨ ਕੇ ਤਨੀਆ ॥

Barhama Ko Agar Sabhai Dhar Kai Su Tahaa Ko Chale Tan Ke Taneeaa ॥

All the powerful people went there under the leadership of Brahma

ਤਬ ਜਾਇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰੀ ਤਿਹ ਸਾਮੁਹਿ ਰੋਵਤ ਤਾ ਮੁਨਿ ਜ੍ਯੋ ਹਨੀਆ ॥

Taba Jaaei Pukaara Karee Tih Saamuhi Rovata Taa Muni Jaio Haneeaa ॥

The sages and others began to weep before the supreme Vishnu as if someone had beaten them

ਤਾ ਛਬਿ ਕੀ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਬਿ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਭੀਤਰ ਯੌ ਗਨੀਆ ॥

Taa Chhabi Kee Ati Hee Aupamaa Kabi Ne Man Bheetr You Ganeeaa ॥

The poet mentioning the beauty of that spectacle says that those people appeared

ਜਿਮ ਲੂਟੇ ਤੈ ਅਗ੍ਰਜ ਚਉਧਰੀ ਕੈ ਕੁਟਵਾਰ ਪੈ ਕੂਕਤ ਹੈ ਬਨੀਆ ॥੧੦॥

Jima Lootte Tai Agarja Chaudharee Kai Kuttavaara Pai Kookata Hai Baneeaa ॥10॥

Like a trader crying before a police officer having been plundered at the instance of the headman.10.

ਲੈ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਸੁਰ ਸੈਨ ਸਭੈ ਤਹ ਦਉਰਿ ਗਏ ਜਹ ਸਾਗਰ ਭਾਰੀ ॥

Lai Barhamaa Sur Sain Sabhai Taha Dauri Gaee Jaha Saagar Bhaaree ॥

ਗਾਇ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਕਰੋ ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਲਖਿ ਬਾਰ ਨਿਵਾਰ ਪਖਾਰੀ ॥

Gaaei Parnaam Karo Tin Ko Apune Lakhi Baara Nivaara Pakhaaree ॥

Brahma reached the milk-ocean alongwith the gods and the forces and washed the feet of the supreme Vishnu with water

ਪਾਇ ਪਰੇ ਚਤੁਰਾਨਨ ਤਾਹਿ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਿ ਬਿਮਾਨ ਤਹਾ ਬ੍ਰਤਿਧਾਰੀ ॥

Paaei Pare Chaturaann Taahi Ke Dekhi Bimaan Tahaa Bartidhaaree ॥

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਕਹੁ ਜਾਹੁ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਲੈ ਮੈ ਜਰ ਦੈਤਨ ਮਾਰੀ ॥੧੧॥

Barhama Kahiyo Barhamaa Kahu Jaahu Avataara Lai Mai Jar Daitan Maaree ॥11॥

Seeing that supreme Immanent Lord, the four-headed Brahma fell at his feet whereupon the Lord said, “You may leave, I shall incarnate and destroy the demons.”11.

ਸ੍ਰਉਨਨ ਮੈ ਸੁਨਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਸਬੈ ਮਨ ਦੇਵਨ ਕੇ ਹਰਖਾਨੇ ॥

Sarunan Mai Suni Barhama Kee Baata Sabai Man Devan Ke Harkhaane ॥

ਕੈ ਕੈ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਚਲੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਆਪਨ ਲੋਕ ਸਭੈ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕਰ ਮਾਨੇ ॥

Kai Kai Parnaam Chale Grihi Aapan Loka Sabhai Apune Kar Maane ॥

Listening to the words of the Lord, all the gods were pleased and went back to their places after paying their obeisance to him

ਤਾ ਛਬਿ ਕੋ ਜਸੁ ਉਚ ਮਹਾ ਕਬਿ ਨੇ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਪਹਿਚਾਨੇ ॥

Taa Chhabi Ko Jasu Aucha Mahaa Kabi Ne Apune Man Mai Pahichaane ॥

ਗੋਧਨ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਗਯੋ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਮਨੋ ਸੁਰ ਜਾਇ ਬਹੋਰ ਕੈ ਆਨੇ ॥੧੨॥

Godhan Bhaanti Gayo Sabha Loka Mano Sur Jaaei Bahora Kai Aane ॥12॥

Visualising that spectacle the poet said that they were going back like a herd of cows.12.
