ਮਨ ਚਿਤ ਕੈ ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵ ॥

Man Chita Kai Kari Seva ॥

ਤਬ ਰੀਝਿ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥

Taba Reejhi Hai Gurdev ॥

ਤਬ ਹੋਇ ਨਾਥ ਸਨਾਥ ॥

Taba Hoei Naatha Sanaatha ॥

ਜਗਨਾਥ ਦੀਨਾ ਨਾਥ ॥੨੬॥

Jaganaatha Deenaa Naatha ॥26॥

(Vishnu said) “When you will adore Lord-God with the fullness of your heart, then the Lord who is the support of the helpless, will fulfill you wish.”26.

ਸੁਨਿ ਬੈਨ ਯੌ ਮੁਖਚਾਰ ॥

Suni Bain You Mukhchaara ॥

ਕੀਅ ਚਉਕ ਚਿਤਿ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥

Keea Chauka Chiti Bichaara ॥

ਉਠਿ ਲਾਗਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵ ॥

Autthi Laagiaa Hari Seva ॥

ਜਿਹ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਭਾਖ੍ਯੋ ਦੇਵ ॥੨੭॥

Jih Bhaanti Bhaakhio Dev ॥27॥

Hearing this Brahma began to worship and make offerings exactly in the same way, as Vishnu had suggested.27.

ਪਰਿ ਪਾਇ ਚੰਡਿ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ॥

Pari Paaei Chaandi Parchaanda ॥

ਜਿਹ ਮੰਡ ਦੁਸਟ ਅਖੰਡ ॥

Jih Maanda Dustta Akhaanda ॥

ਜ੍ਵਾਲਾਛ ਲੋਚਨ ਧੂਮ ॥

Javaalaachha Lochan Dhooma ॥

ਹਨਿ ਜਾਸੁ ਡਾਰੇ ਭੂਮਿ ॥੨੮॥

Hani Jaasu Daare Bhoomi ॥28॥

Vishnu also said this, that the powerful Chandika, the destroyer of the tyrants should also be adored, who had killed the demons like Jawalaksha and Dhumar Lochan.28

ਤਿਸੁ ਜਾਪਿ ਹੋ ਜਬ ਜਾਪ ॥

Tisu Jaapi Ho Jaba Jaapa ॥

ਤਬ ਹੋਇ ਪੂਰਨ ਸ੍ਰਾਪ ॥

Taba Hoei Pooran Saraapa ॥

“When you will worship all of them, then the curse on you will terminte

ਉਠਿ ਲਾਗ ਕਾਲ ਜਪੰਨ ॥

Autthi Laaga Kaal Japaann ॥

ਹਠਿ ਤਿਆਗ ਆਵ ਸਰੰਨ ॥੨੯॥

Hatthi Tiaaga Aava Saraann ॥29॥

Worship the unmanifested Brahman and abandoning your persistence, you may go under his shelter.29.

ਜੇ ਜਾਤ ਤਾਸੁ ਸਰੰਨਿ ॥

Je Jaata Taasu Saraanni ॥

ਤੇ ਹੈ ਧਰਾ ਮੈ ਧਨਿ ॥

Te Hai Dharaa Mai Dhani ॥

“Blessed are they, on the earth, who go under His refuge

ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਨ ਕਉਨੈ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ॥

Tin Kau Na Kaunai Taraasa ॥

ਸਬ ਹੋਤ ਕਾਰਜ ਰਾਸ ॥੩੦॥

Saba Hota Kaaraja Raasa ॥30॥

They do not fear anyone and all their tasks are fulfilled.30.

ਦਸ ਲਛ ਬਰਖ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ॥

Dasa Lachha Barkh Parmaan ॥

ਰਹ੍ਯੋ ਠਾਂਢ ਏਕ ਪਗਾਨ ॥

Rahaio Tthaandha Eeka Pagaan ॥

ਚਿਤ ਲਾਇ ਕੀਨੀ ਸੇਵ ॥

Chita Laaei Keenee Seva ॥

ਤਬ ਰੀਝਿ ਗੇ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥੩੧॥

Taba Reejhi Ge Gurdev ॥31॥

For ten Lack years Brahma stood on one leg and when he served the Lord with the singleness of his heart, then the Guru-Lord was pleased.31.

ਜਬ ਭੇਤ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੀਨ ॥

Jaba Bheta Devee Deena ॥

ਤਬ ਸੇਵ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਕੀਨ ॥

Taba Seva Barhamaa Keena ॥

ਜਬ ਸੇਵ ਕੀ ਚਿਤ ਲਾਇ ॥

Jaba Seva Kee Chita Laaei ॥

ਤਬ ਰੀਝਿ ਗੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥੩੨॥

Taba Reejhi Ge Hari Raaei ॥32॥

When with the goddess explained the myself, then Brahma served with fullness of his mind, and the unmanifested Bharma was pleased with him.32.

ਤਬ ਭਯੋ ਸੁ ਐਸ ਉਚਾਰ ॥

Taba Bhayo Su Aaisa Auchaara ॥

ਹਉ ਆਹਿ ਗ੍ਰਬ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ॥

Hau Aahi Garba Parhaara ॥

ਮਮ ਗਰਬ ਕਹੂੰ ਨ ਛੋਰਿ ॥

Mama Garba Kahooaan Na Chhori ॥

ਸਭ ਕੀਨ ਜੇਰ ਮਰੋਰਿ ॥੩੩॥

Sabha Keena Jera Marori ॥33॥

Then there was such-like voice from heaven,”I am the masher of pride and I have subjugated all.33.

ਤੈ ਗਰਬ ਕੀਨ ਸੁ ਕਾਹਿ ॥

Tai Garba Keena Su Kaahi ॥

ਨਹਿ ਮੋਹ ਭਾਵਤ ਤਾਹਿ ॥

Nahi Moha Bhaavata Taahi ॥

“You had been puffed up with pride, therefore I did not like you

ਅਬ ਕਹੋ ਏਕ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥

Aba Kaho Eeka Bichaara ॥

ਜਿਮਿ ਹੋਇ ਤੋਹਿ ਉਧਾਰ ॥੩੪॥

Jimi Hoei Tohi Audhaara ॥34॥

Now I sea this and tell you as to how you will be redeemed.34.

ਧਰਿ ਸਪਤ ਭੂਮਿ ਵਤਾਰ ॥

Dhari Sapata Bhoomi Vataara ॥

ਤਬ ਹੋਇ ਤੋਹਿ ਉਧਾਰਿ ॥

Taba Hoei Tohi Audhaari ॥

“You may now assume seven incarnation on the earth for your redemption

ਸੋਈ ਮਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਲੀਨ ॥

Soeee Maan Barhamaa Leena ॥

ਧਰਿ ਜਨਮ ਜਗਤਿ ਨਵੀਨ ॥੩੫॥

Dhari Janaam Jagati Naveena ॥35॥

” Brahma accepted all this and assumed new births in the world.35.

ਮੁਰਿ ਨਿੰਦ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਤੂਲਿ ॥

Muri Niaanda Austati Tooli ॥

ਇਮਿ ਜਾਨਿ ਜੀਯ ਜਿਨਿ ਭੂਲਿ ॥

Eimi Jaani Jeeya Jini Bhooli ॥

“Never forget from your mind my slander and praise

ਇਕ ਕਹੋ ਔਰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥

Eika Kaho Aour Bichaara ॥

ਸੁਨਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੁਮਾਰ ॥੩੬॥

Suni Lehu Barhama Kumaara ॥36॥

O Brahma! Also listen to one thing more36

ਇਕ ਬਿਸਨੁ ਮੋਹਿ ਧਿਆਨ ॥

Eika Bisanu Mohi Dhiaan ॥

ਬਹੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਰਿਝਾਨ ॥

Bahu Sevi Mohi Rijhaan ॥

“A god named Vishnu has also meditated on me and greatly pleased me

ਤਿਨਿ ਮਾਗਿਆ ਬਰ ਐਸ ॥

Tini Maagiaa Bar Aaisa ॥

ਮਮ ਦੀਨ ਤਾ ਕਹੁ ਤੈਸ ॥੩੭॥

Mama Deena Taa Kahu Taisa ॥37॥

He has also asked for a boon from me, which I have bestowed on him.37.

ਮਮ ਤਾਸ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥

Mama Taasa Bheda Na Koei ॥

ਸਬ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਨਤ ਸੋਇ ॥

Saba Loka Jaanta Soei ॥

“There is no difference between me and him, all the people know this

ਤਿਹ ਜਾਨ ਹੈ ਕਰਤਾਰ ॥

Tih Jaan Hai Kartaara ॥

ਸਬ ਲੋਕ ਅਲੋਕ ਪਹਾਰ ॥੩੮॥

Saba Loka Aloka Pahaara ॥38॥

The people consider him the creator of this and the next world and their destroyer.38.

ਜਬ ਜਬ ਧਰੇ ਬਪੁ ਸੋਇ ॥

Jaba Jaba Dhare Bapu Soei ॥

ਜੋ ਜੋ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਹੋਇ ॥

Jo Jo Paraakarma Hoei ॥

ਸੋ ਸੋ ਕਥੌ ਅਬਿਚਾਰ ॥

So So Kathou Abichaara ॥
