Eih Bidhi Phaaga Kripaann Khele ॥
In this way, Holi was played with the sword
Sobhata Dhaala Maala Dapha Maalai Moottha Gulaalan Sele ॥
The shields took the place of tabors and the blood became gulal (red colour)
Jaanu Tuphaanga Bharta Pichakaaree Sooran Aanga Lagaavata ॥
The arrows were inflicted on the limbs of the warriors like the syringes
Nikasata Sarona Adhika Chhabi Aupajata Kesar Jaanu Suhaavata ॥
With the flowing out of blood, the beauty of the fighters increased as if they had splashed saffron on their limbs
Saronata Bharee Jattaa Ati Sobhata Chhabahi Na Jaata Kahaio ॥
The glory of the matted locks saturated with blood is indescribable
Maanhu Parma Parema Sou Daaraio Eeenagar Laagi Rahaio ॥
It appeared that with great love, the gulal was splashed in them
Jaha Taha Grita Bhaee Naanaa Bidhi Saangan Sataru Paroee ॥
Jaanuka Khel Dhamaara Pasaari Kai Adhika Sarmita Havai Soee ॥118॥
The enemies stringed with lances were lying hither and thither as if they had been sleeping after the tiring play of Holi.118.
