ਕੁਝ ਦਿਖਾਈਂ ਅਸਾਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਢਿਲ ਅਜੇਹੀ ਲਾਈ॥

Kujh Dhikhaeen Asanoon Bhee Thoon Kioun Dtil Ajaehee Laee||

Why are you late in showing some to us.

ਬਾਬਾ ਬੋਲੇ ਨਾਥ ਜੀ ਅਸਾਂ ਵੇਖੇ ਜੋਗੀ ਵਸਤੁ ਨ ਕਾਈ॥

Baba Bolae Nathh Jee Asan Vaekhae Jogee Vasath N Kaee||

Baba replied, O respected Nath! I have nothing worth showing to you.

ਗੁਰ ਸੰਗਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਬਿਨਾ ਦੂਜੀ ਓਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਰਾਈ॥

Gur Sangath Banee Bina Dhoojee Outt Neheen Hai Raee||

I have no support except of the Guru (God), holy congregation, and the Word (bani).

ਸਿਵ ਰੂਪੀ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਚਲੇ ਨਾਹੀਂ ਧਰਤ ਚਲਾਈ॥

Siv Roopee Karatha Purakh Chalae Naheen Dhharath Chalaee||

That Paramatman who is all full of benedictions (sivam) for all is stable and the earth (and material over it) is transitory.

ਸਿਧ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਕਰ ਝੜ ਪਏ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੈ ਕਲਾ ਛਪਾਈ॥

Sidhh Thanthr Manthr Kar Jharr Peae Shabadh Guroo Kai Kala Shhapaee||

The siddhs exhausted themselves with the tantra-mantras but the world of Lord did not allow their powers to come up.

ਦਦੇ ਦਾਤਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਕਕੇ ਕੀਮਤ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਈ॥

Dhadhae Dhatha Guroo Hai Kakae Keemath Kinai N Paee||

The Guru is the giver and no one can gauge his bounties.

ਸੋ ਦੀਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੪੨॥

So Dheen Naanak Sathigur Saranaee ||a||

Utimately, the humbled yogis submitted before the true Guru Nanak.
