ਭੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਨਿਮਣਿ ਨਿਮਿ ਭੈ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਇਆ।
Bhai Vichi Nimani Nimi Bhai Vichi Jaaiaa |
Under the natural law (fear of lord), the jiva (creature) is conceived (by mother) and in the fear (law) he is born.
ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੨੦ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੦ ਪੰ. ੧
ਭੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੰਥਿ ਸਰਣੀ ਆਇਆ।
Bhai Vichi Guramukhi Panthhi Saranee Aaiaa |
In fear he comes in the shelter of the way (panth) of Guru.
ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੨੦ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੦ ਪੰ. ੨
ਭੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਾਧ ਸਬਦੁ ਕਮਾਇਆ।
Bhai Vichi Sangati Saadh Sabadu Kamaaiaa |
In fear while in the holy congregation he earns the merit of the True Word
ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੨੦ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੦ ਪੰ. ੩
ਭੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਭਾਣਾ ਭਾਇਆ।
Bhai Vichi Jeevanu Mukati Bhaanaa Bhaaiaa |
In fear (natural laws) he gets liberated in life and accepts the will of God happily.
ਵਾਰਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ : ਵਾਰ ੨੦ ਪਉੜੀ ੨੦ ਪੰ. ੪
ਭੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਵਾਰਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ।
Bhai Vichi Janamu Savaari Sahaji Samaaiaa |
In fear he leaves away this life and merges in equipoise.

ਭੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਜਾਇ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨੦॥
Bhai Vichi Nij Ghari Jaai Pooraa Paaiaa ||20 ||
In fear he settles in his self and attains the supreme Perfect Being.
