ਗੁਰ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਜਾਣਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਕਮਾਇਆ।

Gur Pramaysaru Jaani Sabadu Kamaaiaa |

Accepting Guru as God they by cultivating the words of the Guru, translate them into life.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਚਲਿ ਜਾਇ ਸੀਸੁ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ।

Saadhsangati Chali Jaai Seesu Nivaaiaa |

The Gurmukhs serve and attain the fruits of happiness.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਇ ਸੁਖ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ।

Guramukhi Kaar Kamaai Sukh Fal Paaiaa |

This way receiving the cup of love,

ਪਿਰਮ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਪਾਇ ਅਜਰੁ ਜਰਾਇਆ ॥੪॥

Piram Piaalaa Paai Ajaru Jaraaiaa ||4 ||
