ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਸਭ ਤਹ ਚਲਿ ਜਾਹੀ ॥

Nar Naaree Sabha Taha Chali Jaahee ॥

ਅਛਤ ਧੂਪ ਕੁੰਕਮਹਿ ਲਾਹੀ ॥

Achhata Dhoop Kuaankamahi Laahee ॥

Men and women would walk to the place burning incense and sprinkling saffron.

ਭਾਂਤਿ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਕੇ ਗੀਤਨ ਗਾਵੈ ॥

Bhaanti Bhaanti Ke Geetn Gaavai ॥

ਸਰਬ ਮੰਗਲਾ ਕੋ ਸਿਰ ਨਯਾਵੈ ॥੫॥

Sarba Maangalaa Ko Sri Nayaavai ॥5॥

They would recite Sundry songs to appease goddess, Mangal.(5)

ਜੋ ਇਛਾ ਕੋਊ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਧਰੈ ॥

Jo Eichhaa Koaoo Man Mai Dhari ॥

ਜਾਇ ਭਵਾਨੀ ਭਵਨ ਉਚਰੈ ॥

Jaaei Bhavaanee Bhavan Auchari ॥

What ever they wished for in their minds, they would go and express to Bhawani.

ਪੂਰਨ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਹੋਈ ॥

Pooran Bhaavanaa Tin Kee Hoeee ॥

ਬਾਲ ਬ੍ਰਿਧ ਜਾਨਤ ਸਭ ਕੋਈ ॥੬॥

Baala Bridha Jaanta Sabha Koeee ॥6॥

And Bhawani would gratify all, the young and the old.(6)
