ਬਿਨਾ ਸਰਨਿ ਤਾਕੀ ਨ ਅਉਰੈ ਉਪਾਯੰ ॥

Binaa Sarni Taakee Na Aauri Aupaayaan ॥

Without coming under His Refuge, there is no other measure for protection,

ਕਹਾ ਦੇਵ ਦਈਤੰ ਕਹਾ ਰੰਕ ਰਾਯੰ ॥

Kahaa Dev Daeeetaan Kahaa Raanka Raayaan ॥

May be a god, demon, pauper or a king.

ਕਹਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੰ ਕਹਾ ਉਮਰਾਯੰ ॥

Kahaa Paatisaahaan Kahaa Aumaraayaan ॥

May be the Sovereign and may be the courtiers,

ਬਿਨਾ ਸਰਨਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਨ ਕੋਟੈ ਉਪਾਯੰ ॥੭੬॥

Binaa Sarni Taa Kee Na Kottai Aupaayaan ॥76॥

Without coming under His shelter, millions of measures for protection will be useless. 76.

ਜਿਤੇ ਜੀਵ ਜੰਤੰ ਸੁ ਦੁਨੀਅੰ ਉਪਾਯੰ ॥

Jite Jeeva Jaantaan Su Duneeaan Aupaayaan ॥

All the creatures created by Him in the world

ਸਭੈ ਅੰਤਿਕਾਲੰ ਬਲੀ ਕਾਲਿ ਘਾਯੰ ॥

Sabhai Aantikaaln Balee Kaali Ghaayaan ॥

Will ultimately be killed by the mighty KAL.

ਬਿਨਾ ਸਰਨਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਨਹੀ ਔਰ ਓਟੰ ॥

Binaa Sarni Taa Kee Nahee Aour Aottaan ॥

There is no other protection without coming under His shelter,

ਲਿਖੇ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੇ ਪੜੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਕੋਟੰ ॥੭੭॥
