Autaari Aanga Daaraheena ॥10॥

Without hesitation they strike the weapons and chop the limbs.10.

ਕਛੂ ਨ ਕਾਨ ਰਾਖਹੀਂ ॥

Kachhoo Na Kaan Raakhheena ॥

ਸੁ ਮਾਰਿ ਮਾਰਿ ਭਾਖਹੀਂ ॥

Su Maari Maari Bhaakhheena ॥

They do not care at all and shout “kill, kill”.

ਸੁ ਹਾਕ ਹਾਠ ਰੇਲਿਯੰ ॥

Su Haaka Haattha Reliyaan ॥

ਅਨੰਤ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਝੇਲਿਯੰ ॥੧੧॥

Anaanta Sasatar Jheliyaan ॥11॥

They challenge and drive with force and endure the blows of many weapons.11.

ਹਜਾਰ ਹੂਰਿ ਅੰਬਰੰ ॥

Hajaara Hoori Aanbaraan ॥

ਬਿਰੁਧ ਕੈ ਸੁਅੰਬਰੰ ॥

Birudha Kai Suaanbaraan ॥

Thousand of houris (beautiful heavenly damsels) move in the sky; they move forward to marry the martyrs.

ਕਰੂਰ ਭਾਂਤ ਡੋਲਹੀ ॥

Karoora Bhaanta Dolahee ॥

ਸੁ ਮਾਰੁ ਮਾਰ ਬੋਲਹੀ ॥੧੨॥

Su Maaru Maara Bolahee ॥12॥

The warriors move in the battlefield in a frightful manner, and utter “kill, kill” 12.

ਕਹੂਕਿ ਅੰਗ ਕਟੀਅੰ ॥

Kahooki Aanga Katteeaan ॥

ਕਹੂੰ ਸਰੋਹ ਪਟੀਅੰ ॥

Kahooaan Saroha Patteeaan ॥

The limbs of some warrior have been chopped and the hair of some have been uprooted.

ਕਹੂੰ ਸੁ ਮਾਸ ਮੁਛੀਅੰ ॥

Kahooaan Su Maasa Muchheeaan ॥

ਗਿਰੇ ਸੁ ਤਛ ਮੁਛੀਅੰ ॥੧੩॥

Gire Su Tachha Muchheeaan ॥13॥

The flesh of someone has been peeled and someone hath fallen after being chopped.13.

ਢਮਕ ਢੋਲ ਢਾਲਿਯੰ ॥

Dhamaka Dhola Dhaaliyaan ॥

ਹਰੋਲ ਹਾਲ ਚਾਲਿਯੰ ॥

Harola Haala Chaaliyaan ॥

There is knocking sound of drums and shield. The frontline army hath been uprooted.

ਝਟਾਕ ਝਟ ਬਾਹੀਅੰ ॥

Jhattaaka Jhatta Baaheeaan ॥

ਸੁ ਬੀਰ ਸੈਨ ਗਾਹੀਅੰ ॥੧੪॥

Su Beera Sain Gaaheeaan ॥14॥

The warriors strike their weapons very quickly and trample over the heroic army.14.

ਨਿਵੰ ਨਿਸਾਣ ਬਾਜਿਅੰ ॥

Nivaan Nisaan Baajiaan ॥

ਸੁ ਬੀਰ ਧੀਰ ਗਾਜਿਅੰ ॥

Su Beera Dheera Gaajiaan ॥

New trumpets resound and the mighty warriors with quality of forbearance, roar.

ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਬਾਣ ਬਾਹਹੀ ॥

Kripaan Baan Baahahee ॥

ਅਜਾਤ ਅੰਗ ਲਾਹਹੀ ॥੧੫॥

Ajaata Aanga Laahahee ॥15॥

They strike the swords and shoot the arrows and suddenly chop away the limbs. 15.

ਬਿਰੁਧ ਕ੍ਰੁਧ ਰਾਜਿਯੰ ॥

Birudha Karudha Raajiyaan ॥

ਨ ਚਾਰ ਪੈਰ ਭਾਜਿਯੰ ॥

Na Chaara Pari Bhaajiyaan ॥

Filled with anger, they move forward and do not go back even four feet.

ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਗਾਜ ਹੀ ॥

Saanbhaari Sasatar Gaaja Hee ॥

ਸੁ ਨਾਦ ਮੇਘ ਲਾਜ ਹੀ ॥੧੬॥

Su Naada Megha Laaja Hee ॥16॥

They hold the weapons and challenge and hearing their thunder, the clouds feel shy.16.

ਹਲੰਕ ਹਾਕ ਮਾਰਹੀ ॥

Halaanka Haaka Maarahee ॥

ਸਰਕ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਝਾਰਹੀ ॥

Sarka Sasatar Jhaarahee ॥

They raise their heart-rending shouts and strike their weapons violently.

ਭਿਰੇ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਸੋਕਿਯੰ ॥

Bhire Bisaari Sokiyaan ॥

ਸਿਧਾਰ ਦੇਵ ਲੋਕਿਯੰ ॥੧੭॥

Sidhaara Dev Lokiyaan ॥17॥

They fight, forgetting all sorrows and several of them move towards heaven.17.

ਰਿਸੇ ਬਿਰੁਧ ਬੀਰਿਯੰ ॥

Rise Birudha Beeriyaan ॥

ਸੁ ਮਾਰਿ ਝਾਰਿ ਤੀਰਿਯੰ ॥

Su Maari Jhaari Teeriyaan ॥

The warriors filled with ire and moving forward shoot a volley of arrows.

ਸਬਦ ਸੰਖ ਬਜਿਯੰ ॥

Sabada Saankh Bajiyaan ॥

ਸੁ ਬੀਰ ਧੀਰ ਸਜਿਯੰ ॥੧੮॥

Su Beera Dheera Sajiyaan ॥18॥

The conch is blown and in such a terrible time, the warriors get adorned with patience. 18.
