ਕਰੀ ਹੈ ਹਕੀਕਤਿ ਮਾਲੂਮ ਖੁਦ ਦੇਵੀ ਸੇਤੀ ਲੀਆ ਮਹਖਾਸੁਰ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਛੀਨ ਧਾਮ ਹੈ ॥

Karee Hai Hakeekati Maalooma Khuda Devee Setee Leeaa Mahakhaasur Hamaaraa Chheena Dhaam Hai ॥

The gods told the goddess all their occurrences sating that the demon-king Mahishaura had seized all their abodes.

ਕੀਜੈ ਸੋਈ ਬਾਤ ਮਾਤ ਤੁਮ ਕਉ ਸੁਹਾਤ ਸਭ ਸੇਵਕਿ ਕਦੀਮ ਤਕਿ ਆਏ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਾਮ ਹੈ ॥

Keejai Soeee Baata Maata Tuma Kau Suhaata Sabha Sevaki Kadeema Taki Aaee Teree Saam Hai ॥

ਦੀਜੈ ਬਾਜਿ ਦੇਸ ਹਮੈ ਮੇਟੀਐ ਕਲੇਸ ਲੇਸ ਕੀਜੀਏ ਅਭੇਸ ਉਨੈ ਬਡੋ ਯਹ ਕਾਮ ਹੈ ॥

Deejai Baaji Desa Hamai Metteeaai Kalesa Lesa Keejeeee Abhesa Aunai Bado Yaha Kaam Hai ॥

“Please get us back our abodes, remove our suffering and make those demons garbles and wealthless. This is a very great task which can only be accomplished by Thee.

ਕੂਕਰ ਕੋ ਮਾਰਤ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤਾਹਿ ਮਾਰਤ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਖਾਵੰਦ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ ॥੨੨॥
